EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Just in time! Josh and I signed the lease on our new apartment today. A new apartment in which Luisa gets her own room. I came home from the lease-signing to find this envelope in our mail box. I didn’t open it. Josh did. He showed me the contents and I squealed like a preteen at a Justin Bieber concert.
These are perfect for her future room.
The artist is Natalie. She’s wonderful. Really, really wonderful.

Color Of The Year of the Day: Pantone’s color of the year for 2011 is (drum roll please): Honeysuckle!

Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman explains the choice:

The intensity of this festive reddish pink allures and engages. In fact, this color, not the sweet fragrance of the flower blossoms for which it was named, is what attracts hummingbirds to nectar. Honeysuckle may also bring a wave of nostalgia for its associated delicious scent reminiscent of the carefree days of spring and summer.
